Café Intención, the pioneering Fairtrade brand, recognised early on that sustainable quality only comes about when farmers, traders, roasters and coffee lovers work together as partners. Fairtrade certification empowers producers and leads to improvements in their living and working conditions. This in turn leads to a higher quality Café Intención product in organic quality.

The campaign consisted of three motifs. The people depicted are real coffee farmers and were illustrated with great attention to detail by Ini Neumann. The special feature: the motifs were drawn with real coffee. Headline: How to recognise a sustainable coffee? If it also causes joy for the people at its origin.
