Germany's largest Catholic aid organisation MISEREOR works for the poorest people in the world. They work on the ground and support local organisations. The motto: help for self-help. And they do this even when others have already moved on and the focus of the Press is elsewhere. The campaign was developed to make this point and to show the variety of projects MISEREOR is involved in. The film was produced by Sehsucht. This work was created during my time as art director at Kolle Rebbe.

direct mailing
Actions instead of words. Building on the foundation of the campaign, we also created a direct mailing that was sent to a very specific target group - the press. It asked them not only to report on injustice in the world, but to actively support MISEREOR. We reduced the appeal for donations to a single sentence: Action, not words. The rest of the now redundant sentences were enclosed as loose letters that fell out when the recipient opened the envelope. Almost half of the 500 journalists to whom the letter was sent responded to the call.
